Ingredients

  • ½ cup ginger root washed and chopped
  • cups lemon juice - 2-3 lemons
  • ½ cup coconut water
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper

Instructions

  • Place all the ingredients in a blender. Blend everything together until smooth.
  • Place a mesh strainer over a bowl or measuring cup and pour the liquid over the sieve. Press the pulp with a spoon or small glass to squeeze all the liquid out of it.
  • Pour the liquid into small glasses or transfer to a large sealed glass container. Keep refrigerated. It will last for about 3-4 days stored in the fridge. Stir before drinking. Enjoy!

Notes

Store leftover ginger shots in small shot bottles or in a large sealed glass jar in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Always stir or shake before drinking.
You can also freeze the wellness shots to have on hand all fall and winter! I like to freeze them in ice cube trays and thaw two at a time for a wellness shot.
