Vanilla Pastry Cream

Ingredients

Milk Cream Sugar Egg Cornstarch Vanilla Salt

Step 1

Heat some of the milk, cream and sugar to boiling. Mix together the remaining milk, egg & corn starch.

Step 2

Stir in some of the boiled milk to the egg mixture & combine.

Step 3

Add it to the pot and heat to boiling, stirring often,

Step 4

Until thickened, place in a clean bowl, cover with plastic & chill.
