In a pot over low to medium heat melt butter, then whisk in the sugar, cocoa powder and vanilla until the mixture is smooth.

Add the egg into the mix. Place the pot back on the stove and continue to cook for approximately 2 minutes until the mixture is smooth and slightly thickened.

Remove from heat and stir in the graham cracker crumbs, coconut and nuts. Press mixture into a pan and then chill in the refrigerator.
Step 4
Whisk together powdered sugar and custard powder, add cream and butter and beat until fluffy. Spread over the 1st layer then chill for 1 hour.
Step 5
Melt together butter, milk and chopped chocolate and stir until smooth. Let cool, then spread evenly over the custard layer. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until chocolate is set.
