In a bowl whisk together the cinnamon and sugar. Reserve 2 tablespoons and set it aside for the top of the cookies.

In a medium bowl whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt.

In another bowl, beat together the cinnamon mix with the butter until creamy. Add the egg and beat again. Add the vanilla and combine. Add flour mix, and mix until just combined.

Cover the bowl and chill for 30-60 minutes. Roll out the dough and cut with round cookie cutters.
Step 5
Brush the tops of the cookies with milk and sprinkle with the leftover cinnamon sugar. Bake at 350F for 10-13 minutes.
