Step 1
Beat eggs in a bowl. Add cream, vanilla and sugar and mix. In another bowl, whisk the dry ingredients together. Add butter and cut them into the flour until it forms coarse crumbs.
Step 2
Make a well in the mix. Pour the egg mix in and stir until just combined.
Step 3
When the dough is mixed, fold it over itself three or four times. This will help it come together. Form into a rectangle. Top the dough with the frozen sliced strawberries. Fold the dough over in three.
Step 4
Shape it into a circle. Slice it into wedges. Place them two inches apart on a cookie sheet. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until lightly golden.
