Simple Croissant Bread Pudding

Step 1

In a bowl whisk together the milk, cream, egg, granulated sugar, and vanilla until the mixture is smooth and light yellow.

Add cubed croissant pieces into the milk mix until all the pieces are wet. Let the mixture soak for about 15-20 minutes.

Step 3

Fold dark chocolate chips into the croissant custard mixture then carefully spoon it into an 8 inch baking dish.

Bake for 35-45 minutes until it starts to bubble. Remove from the oven, cool for at least 20 minutes then serve with a dusting of powdered sugar.
