Step 1
In a medium bowl whisk the flour, salt, baking soda and cinnamon then set aside.
Step 2
Soak the raisins in boiling water for 10-15 minutes, then drain well.
Step 3
In a large bowl cream butter and sugar together. Beat in the vanilla, then the egg and finally the oats. Mix to combine then add the milk and mix again.
Step 4
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and combine. Then add the raisins and walnuts and mix. Cover the bowl and chill dough for 30-60 minutes.
Step 5
Place golf sized cookie dough balls on the baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes at 350F.
