Sprinkle yeast over water. let it sit for five minutes and stir. Place the butter in a bowl and pour boiling water. When butter has melted add sugar and stir. Add orange juice and salt and mix.

Add some of the flour and egg yolk and candied orange. Once combined add the rest of the flour and knead for 3-4 minutes or until the dough is smooth.

Roll the dough into a ball and place it into an oiled bowl. Cover and let the dough rest until doubled in size.

Punch the dough down and form it into a loaf and fit it into a loaf pan. Cover the pan and leave the dough to rise for another hour. Bake the loaf for 40 to 45 minutes at 375F.
