Sourdough Pie Crust Hazelnut Cream or Chocolate Cream Spread

Step 1

Roll out pie crust to ⅛ inch thickness then use a medium round cookie cutter to cut it out into 12 circles.

Step 2

Place 6 of the circles on a  baking sheet, then top each circle with filling of choice. Make small slits in the remaining 6 circles and place on top of each circle.

Step 3

Seal the edges of each pie and then use the tongs of a fork to seal again. Chill for 30 minutes while oven  preheats to 375 F.

Step 4

Brush each round pie with some milk and sprinkle with sugar. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
