Homemade  Classic Croissant


Flour Yeast Sugar Salt Water Milk Butter

Step 1

Whisk together flour, yeast and sugar, add water and milk. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes. Let rest.

Step 2

Punch the dough down, form into a ball. Place in a bowl, cover and refrigerate for an hour.

Step 3

Remove from the fridge and roll into a rectangle. Spread softened butter over 2/3 of the dough & fold.

Step 4

Rotate the dough, roll again, repeat the fold.

Step 5

Roll, trim and cut into desired pastry shapes.

Step 6

Place pastries on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet, cover let rise 1 hour.

Step 7

Bake and serve! Enjoy.
