Easy  Sourdough Starter with Yeast

Step 1

In a small bowl add the lukewarm water, sprinkle the yeast on top and let sit for 5 minutes.

Step 2

Add the flour and stir together.

Step 3

Combine well, be sure that no flour remains on the bottom of the bowl.

Step 4

Move the starter to a clean, bowl or jar. Cover and let sit for 24 hours.

Step 5

The starter is ready when it rises and bubbles. It should have a slightly sour smell. Now it's ready for use.
