Ingredients

Active Dry Yeast Water Sugar Flour Cocoa Vanilla Salt Nuts Chocolate Chips

Step 1

In the mixing bowl add the water, pinch of sugar & yeast, let sit 5 minutes, then add the flour, cocoa, remaining sugar & vanilla.

Step 2

Knead to form a compact dough.

Step 3

Add the nuts & chips and knead for 1 minute to combine.

Step 4

Pat the dough into a square then fold in three.

Step 5

Form the dough into a ball, place in a bowl, cover and let rise 2 hours.

Step 6

Shape the dough into the desired shape, place on the cookie sheet and let rise.
