Brown Sugar Tea Cookies

Step 1

In a medium bowl sift together the flour, baking powder and salt then set aside.

In a medium bowl beat butter, add eggs and combine until light and fluffy. Add vanilla, then add brown sugar mixing after each addition.

Add flour mix to wet mix a bit at a time and mix together to form a dough. Cover the bowl and refrigerate it for 20 minutes.

Step 4

Roll cookie dough out and cut into squares. Place squares on a baking sheet. Sprinkle cane sugar and bake at 350F for about 20 minutes.

Let cookies cool for 5 minutes on top of the baking sheet then transfer them on a wire rack to finish cooling completely.
