In a medium bowl whisk together the flour, orange zest and baking powder.

In a large bowl cream butter, sugar and vanilla. Add the eggs, one at a time, with one spoonful of flour mix. Add remaining flour mix and mix until combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan coated with sugar and bake for about 35-40 minutes.

Let cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a cooling rack to cool completely. Combine icing ingredients and pour on the cake when cooled. Enjoy!
